Colby, When Jackson got home from school today I went through his backpack and this is what I found.....
Dear Town Council,
I would like to nominate Officer Colby Balls for a good citizen award. He takes his job very seriously. He cares about the people in his community. He respects all people and wants to see them succeed. He treats others fairly. As my uncle he is a very good example to me. He is funny and I love him.
Sincerely,
Jackson Richardson
I wish I could scan a copy of the letter and post in his handwriting. So cute. I had no idea they were working on this in class. He did it all by himself. You have made quite the impression on him. :)

SUMMER FUN!!
UTAH = FUN
We did so much this Summer in Utah. I am not sure where to start. How about from the beginning? On the way to my parents house from the airport we stopped by BYU to show the kids the campus.
This is where Britt did his undergraduate studies and where all the magic that makes us Richardson's began. The kids were not really that interested, they wanted to get to Manti and see all their cousins. Can't really blame them when they only get to see them once a year. Britt and I sure had a great time walking around and doing the remember this or that game. While we were walking past the bookstore we had to stop and watch this "ONLY AT BYU" activity that was going on. There were a group of students, some really big tricycles, and a lot of cheering going on. We assumed they were having some FHE activity(could of sworn their Bishop was there). Which team can finish riding the giant tricycles the fastest. HA Ha!! We really got a good chuckle seeing that. BYU is a great place! We have so many happy fun memories from when we were there.

Another Concert!
This past year has been a year of going to concerts. We have had so much fun going and spending time with family and friends while we were enjoying the music and a little, ok maybe alot of dancing. Happiness!!
We took the kids and went with some friends to the REO Speedwagon concert. Since it has been a few months and the older I get the more I seem to forget details ummm say..... by the next day, I can only remember that it was blazing hot outside and the line to get drinks was over an hour long so we suffered without liquids for 3 hours. Oh ya, and we parked about 5 miles from the outside arena and had to take a school bus with no air to and from our car. BUT.... we did have a lot of fun! REO was still tearing it up and they sounded pretty much the same.
Dancing to the 60's
Rylie had her dance recital in June! This year the theme was the music of the 60's. Rylie was in 3 dance numbers this year. She danced to "Born to be Wild" for her Jazz routine. "Get Back" for her hip hop and "Georgia On My Mind" for her ballet.
It was a lot of hard work this past year. Rylie really has grown as a dancer and it is so fun to watch her. We have just started the new year of dance and she decided to add tap. She is doing 4 classes of dance this year which = dropping her off on Wednesday nights at 4pm and picking her up at 8pm. She is one tired girl on Wednesday's but she loves it and seems to be keeping up just fine.
