December at the Richardsons

Nativity by the Carrollton Texas Stake

Every year the Carrollton Stake puts on a Nativity exhibit. It is free to the public and open Friday and Saturday sometime in December for the public to view. I have been able to help the past two years to set it up and decorate. It is quite the undertaking. We start on Monday 9am and go through Thursday. We are usually there from 9 until around midnight each day. It opens on Friday morning thru Saturday evening. We then take it all down Saturday night so the church is clean and ready for Sunday church. It really is pretty incredible and I have loved doing it. I wish the pictures could do it justice but they really don't. There are 500 nativities from all over the world. It's pretty awesome!
They also have different singing groups or individuals who provide music while people are viewing the Nativities. The kids were able to sing with the Primary from our ward on Saturday night.
