Sooooo, the wildlife here in Texas is about to put me over the edge - literally. After finding two of these......

and now two of these.......

I think I might just pack up my bags and go! Why is this happening? Why do these disgusting creatures always end up in my back yard? why why why???? So here is the story - you know there always has to be a story with us. Jackson is playing basketball out on the back patio, I am on the phone with my mom inside, Jackson comes running in screaming there is a snake, my mom asks? what is the matter, I say just a minute, go out back, see the LARGE snake all curled up by the hose on the patio, 8 ft from the patio door, start hysterically screaming to get inside, get Rugby inside, me still screaming, hang up on my mom. Go back outside because now my neighbor Bob (the same Bob who saved me from one of the tarantula's - remember?) is wondering what all the screaming is about, I tell him there is a rattle snake on my patio. Help ME Please!!!! My phone is ringing off the hook while all this is going on. I think to myself I probably should see who that is.... well in the middle of all this snake catastrophe Rylie's dance teacher is calling because Rylie has hit herself in the nose with her knee and it is bleeding all over the dance studio (no lie). I need to go get her. I tell her teacher I will be there asap after I get the snake outta my back yard. Bob is now in my back yard with a shovel. He looks at the snake, says that is two snakes and I think they are mateing. GROSS!! Sorry but it is! Bob tells me he is going to chop their heads off with the shovel. ummmm...... ok......... let me turn the other way and get Jackson out of the back yard. Bob starts chopping away. I am screaming along with Bob's wife Cindy. I can not even begin to tell you how petrified I was. Britt has now pulled up from work and grabs another shovel, he is trying to chop the males head off because the female is almost dead from Bob chopping away. sick! sick! sick! It was like a horror film. I did not sleep very much that night and I am seriously thinking about moving. P.S. Rylie was fine, no broken nose, just bruised and bloody - kinda like the snakes!!!!!
